I hate my strength workouts:

Yes, I said I hate my workouts. Hate may be too strong of a word, dislike might be better. The point is, it is OK to dislike your strength workout. It is hard and very uncomfortable at times as you are asked to do things you don't necessarily want to do (work for the next repetition, or two, or three).

The reason we ask you to do them is you are pursuing the benefits. When we are working to get the 10th, and 11th and 12th reps on Leg Extension, our thigh muscles are screaming for us to stop. The ache of the muscular work is very intense and very real. We all want to stop, but we must try another repetition as we know the research tells us to work to momentary muscle failure for the best results.

So really we are asking you to tolerate how hard you must work. As time goes by you will learn to work harder and harder, and your tolerance for the work will increase. You will never like the workout, but you will love the benefits.
