About 1.5 years ago, I finished my journey martial arts and I was worried that my fitness level would decline. I kept driving by and seeing the sign for free workout at HIT, so I decided to give it a try. I was hooked. I loved that it was less than 30 minutes and that I could schedule when it worked for me. Then like a good wife, I told my husband that he should go too. Then like a good mom, I told my teenage son that it would be good for him to learn to lift weights the correct/safe way.
I really appreciate the trainers always push me to do more than I would do on my own. I often think that I'm done (and I know I would have stopped if left to my own) and sure enough, I am usually able to do 2-5 more reps. I have gained muscle and dropped and kept off 10 lbs without going on a diet, but working on eating more fruits and vegetables. Bob likes the be pushed during his workouts and also likes to have the HMR entrees on hand to have at work when he's stuck there for dinner, much better than ordering food in! John says, "He likes the people that work there, they are friendly. I like that it keeps me fit".
