Strength is Life
I don’t want to be the guy shuffling behind a walker that has tennis balls on the legs.
I don’t want to be the person who has to sit on the porch and watch while the others live full and rich lives.
I won’t let myself become the one who is left at home because he can’t keep up on a family adventure.
I am not ready to be the guy who has to hang on the back of a shopping cart to get food because he is weak to walk without a rolling crutch.
The most miserable workouts today still will make me a stronger person 10 years from now and those workouts will let me live my life instead of just being alive.
No matter how old you are, you are too young to give up the most precious thing you own, which is the quality of your life.
And all of this my choice….
I choose to move everyday pushing my limits.
I choose to live every day truly alive.
Aging can’t be stopped, but I can take it personally and fight back.
How long any of us live is an unknown, but we control the essence of our life.
Your time will come and there is nothing you can do about it.
How you choose to live, move, eat, think and chase life is all you every day.
I am too young to be this old, and too old to be young, but living with passion is a choice you make
every second you are awake.
Movement is the most beautiful thing in life, and I refuse to give up without a fight.
