Do You Know What You Are Made Of?
The only way to know your overall skeletal muscle mass and fat mass is to get you body composition tested. Body composition is a method of describing what the body is made of. It includes fat, protein, minerals and body water. It’s also describes weight more accurately than BMI. Body composition analysis can accurately show changes in fat mass, muscle mass and body fat percentage. This can help validate services like personal training and all of your hard work.
This can now be done at HIT Strength personal training. We have invested in the Inbody 570 body composition analyzer. It is essential to go beyond the standard scale weight.
As you strength train, the goal is to actually gain lean body mass (muscle), and with dietary changes....lose body fat. You can actually put the hard work in to gain 5 pounds of muscle and lose 5 pounds of fat, which a standard scale tells you nothing has changed. This is where getting you body composition tested reveals the results of all your hard work. It will accurately show that there has been a lean weight change of 10 pounds. You look different and feel different but now you can see the results in a easy to read report. GET TESTED!!!
